Newels, in addition to being decorative, provide the majority of structural rigidity in a balustrade system. You must select the proper size newel and the best mounting method for your site conditions. Please see "newel fasteners" for different styles of newel mounting hardware for different sub floor system.

In addition to our standard newel profiles, we have custom premium Estate Newels which define a stairway like a family crest symbolizes your heritage. We can also produce turnings for your stairway to match your fireplace columns, full-size columns, kitchen island columns and more. We can also scale up any newel to a larger size if the profile you like will end up lost in your project.

Remember, we can produce most any type of turning, in any quantity, in most any species available for Interior or Exterior. All of our newels are manufactured for interior purposes only unless specifically noted otherwise. Please call for a quote on exterior wood products.
