Door Grills
Features
Rivers Locking Systems heavy duty steel door grilles are available in a variety of designs and are custom made to protect any door vulnerable to forced or unauthorised entry. Configurations include, but are not limited to, single leaf swinging, double leaf swinging, single leaf sliding and double leaf sliding door grilles. Door grille perimeter frames are generally fabricated from steel RHS section or angle. Security bars are no less than 1Omm solid square bar at approximately 11Omm centres. Steel sections are specified based upon the security risk, aesthetics and overall door leaf size.
Applications
Rivers door grilles are used in industrial, commercial and residential buildings where unauthorized access is to be restricted or existing door security is inadequate. Rivers door grilles have been used in government buildings, schools, retail stores, warehouses, distribution centres, factories, banks, office buildings, council amenities buildings, showrooms, shopping centres and alike.
Hardware
Swinging door grille hardware includes heavy duty ball bearing hinges and pad bolts. Sliding door grilles utilise top & bottom tracks complete with guides & rollers.
Finishes
It is recommended that any externally mounted security door grilles are hot dip galvanised. Internal door grilles may be grey primed. Durable polyester powder coat can be applied in any standard Dulux colour upon request.
Special colours are available.
Installation
Rivers door grilles are designed to be securely bolted to the surrounding structure using either security fasteners or domed head bolts that are fixed though the entire thickness of the wall. Refer to sales staff in relation to installation.
